Funny thing when the day after your birthday turns out to be happier than the day itself. I got a present today (2, actually). I got a nice card from my parents. Then they called to tell me they'd found a car for cheap. They picked it up, and with tax and license and everything it was only 500 bucks. They payed for it and i'll just pay them off out of my tax return money when it gets here. All i have to do is go home and get it. It's a Bonneville, just like my old one, but a few years newer. Fewer miles, but the exact same engine and interior, albeit the car's a little smaller than mine.

All in all, apart from going blind on sonic today, it's been an alright day-after-birthday.

It's everyone (except andy's) day off at the house today. Lazy day for everyone where they just sit around and do nothing. I've decided to make today a cleaning day, and i started with the kitchen. I pretty much only got done with the fridge, but that's a job in and of itself.

Well, our "nothing" day went off without a hitch. Michelle was out of bed for barely 3 hours total today. I'm glad, she deserves some time off. She found out tonight that she has tomorrow off, too. I'm trying to convince her that should be a "lounge naked in bed" day. So far she's not going for it. :)
