Two days off feels like forever when you have to go BACK to work -_-;

Back to the normal routine of frozen pizza for lunch, shower, then work. I wonder if I have to work Sunday.

I had an eventful evening of NOTHING last night, and it was wonderful. I mulled around the house, posted at the center, played GBA, made some banners (OMG! and OMG2!) and quietly gloated in the direction of the people that had to work New Year's Eve and/or New Year's Day.

Today, plans are much the same. Breakfast (at 2:30, yay!) and then laying about enjoying time off work.

Well, we're trucking along, frightened, since we've had to work when the busses aren't running and had to drive the whole time. I tried to get my car going, but it's got a VERY scary rattle going on right now that makes me afraid to drive it.

My disgusting cold evolved into an icky flu. Said icky flu combined with an allergy I wasn't aware of caused me to have to go home early on Friday. Not that it did any good, since I had to be back at 3am on Saturday and 6am on Sunday. I had an on-call today that they didn't use (thank God) so I ended up sleeping for somewhere in the neighborhood of 13 hours. For the first time since I got up on the 25th, I'm actually feeling halfway human again. That's lucky, since my supply of drugs is almost exhausted. :eek3:
