Well, if you buzz into the archives and see when I said we were first starting to do the laundry...tonight was the night we finally got around to it. It's been fucking cold all day, peaking out at +2 for the high. Otherwise, it's a boring day. Arby's for lunch, roast beef, curly fries and onion petals. I'm probably going to hit up a frozen pizza for tonight. Tomorrow night we leave for home, and I won't be back until the 7th. Hopefully Ralph can handle the manga while I'm gone.

Well, fruitful trip to Watertown. Michelle's ticket got reduced to $0 but there were still $38 worth of court costs to contend with, but we still got out at approximately half-price. We wanted to hit the outlet mall on the way home to see if I could find some shoes, since mine are well on the way to being broken. We got there at 6:30 and every store in the damn place was closed. No big sign, no bad weather, just...closed. We decided to buzz to the Janesville mall to check the two shoe stores there, but the weapon shop is BEFORE the shoe stores, and we always pop in to see if the guy has anything new. As it turns out, he had the sword I've been jonesing for ever since we bought Michelle's, cheaper than retail, PLUS it was 10% off, PLUS it was the last one. We didn't make it to the shoe store and we did walk out of the mall with a shiny new sword. The woman at the weapon shop didn't re-tape the box that she put my sword in, so I promptly discarded the box in the trashcan in the parking lot. I then commenced to unsheath my sword randomly in the middle of the parking lot. A few people looked frightened. Mine's on the top and Chelle's is on the bottom. We've had hers for quite a while, and mine's a different release from the same series. Hers is a single-edged katana while mine is a double edged straight-sword. It's shorter, lighter and more intimidating than hers, plus it makes a neat-o swishing sound when I swing it fast enough. (It sounds like the Vorpal Blade in SotN) I've done little else but eat and swing the sword around in inventive ways since I got home. Oh, and Chelle and I had a duel in the kitchen. I was defending my cereal, and she wanted some. I won. (but I gave her some anyways)

Humans are such creatures of habit, and I'm very human. I didn't have to go to work until 2 today, yet I got up at the same time, got in the shower at the same time, got dressed at the same time, and now i'm just killing a fair amount of time before heading uptown. :(

Wow, it snowed like hell today. It's still snowing like hell. I want fruity pebbles.

Tomorrow I work 1-6, then Wednesday we have to go all the fucking way to WATERTOWN to deal with michelle's ticket. Hopefully it gets lowered, dismissed, reduced or something good. That'd be $75 that we won't have to pay and I could use for other expenses that are piling up since my hours started dwindling. I can't start looking for a job until after feb 7, since it's not like there are many places that would give a week off to a brand new employee, and I'm already obligated to be home that week. Oh well, after that I can commence looking for a job in earnest and hopefully find something more steady. Factory work or something else full time, maybe even something with benefits so I can go to the dr. or something, or maybe even the chiropractor! That'd be a dream come true. I haven't been to the chiro since I moved away from home.

The apartment is VERY clean. We have to take out the garbage and do laundry, but it looks very decent. The bedroom is still a clothing-on-the-floor disaster area, but we're only in there to sleep and...sleep anyways so it doesn't matter so much what it looks like.

Filed mom and dad's income tax today. I'm still not entirely certain whether they'll have to mail stuff in to the state. They didn't last year, but we had to go through a different place now that intuit is being a bunch of moneygrubbing asschewers with the taxfreedom project.

Well, time to finish stalling before we go to the laundromat.
