Well, that was an interesting piece of drama last night. Inane is like that little old lady that screams at you in the middle of the street, but everyone that walks by expects you to take it because for some reason they deserve special reverence. Bullshit. When that little old lady screams at me for no reason, the first thing I do is yell right back because I won't be talked down to by anyone. Inane is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to scanslating Naruto. All of the good scanslation teams dropped it when it became licensed, so Inane thinks that by using the threat of non-distribution they can elicit some sort of frightened respect from the Naruto community. Only a few people who aren't completely blind can see it for what it is, since without Naruto, nobody would even know who the fuck Inane is or what they do. Credit is given where credit is due, as always, and they want more. They keep wanting a bigger slice of the pie, when all they really deserve are the crumbs. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, as they say, and tweedle dee and tweedle dumbass squeak loudly enough that you can't help but hear them. Xplo and Gummi seem to have this inflated sense of duty that the believe means they run the damn show, when in reality they're just the loudest and the real people in charge are too chickenshit to say anything because they may have to find new staff to replace them. Editors are a dime a dozen, anyone with photoshop, photo paint or any other corporate released image editor and some time on their hands can do their job and do it well.

Bottom Line: Inane needs to stop letting Xplo and Gummi present their public face to everyone, and people who don't know shit about shit need to keep their goddamn mouths shut for a change. Just because you talk louder than everyone else doesn't make you right, it just makes you an asshole.

It's a veritable orgy of zelda around here. Wind Waker on the GC and LttP in my GBA. I should dust off my original Zelda cart and fire up the NES and really knock myself loopy.

Upon a bit of introspection, I decided the main reason that my trip was so unfulfilling was because I was separated from michelle for the better part of the week. That's enough to take the zing out of anything for me, and the fact that it was basically choosing between her and my parents made it even worse.

On another side note, there are drifts up to a foot deep on hwy 14 between Janesville and Delavan. There were 8 cars in the ditch, and we're fairly certain one person following us went in the ditch as well. We called the county and they said they're not sending plows out to clean it up until 4am. By then there won't be any ditch left to hold the cars.

Okay, back from the trip and had a bit of time to relax and do some stuff. Home, for lack of a better word, sucked. There were a few things here and there that were awesome, but on the whole it was one of the more lacklustre trips home that I've had in a while. Munising falls was awesome, hopefully I'll get some pictures of that up later. I don't really know what else needs to be said on the matter. I spent a lot of time wondering if what I was saying or doing was right, nobody seemed happy I was there, except when they said "boy, i'm glad you came home" and I couldn't do anything I wanted to do. Perhaps my interests and that of my parents have grown apart too far to gap.
