More work, that's about all there is to say about it. Every one of us appeared to have something else on their mind or just didn't want to be at work. Nate was having issues with his parents, and is about a hair's breadth from getting tossed on his ass. Robyn has been a basketcase and will be right up until ex b/f 1 leave next Wed. Heather was blissfully ignorant of the world around her, as always, but I enjoy her company. Jill was Jill. A pain in the ass. CJ and I decided to controvene store policy (again) because store policy is dumb, and apparently we're qualified to make that decision. :p
The Coming Dawn:
As you can see by the post time, it's approx 12:15am here in the loverly state of WI. I have to be up at 6 to be to work by 7. Any other day of the week I can haul my ass into bed by 11pm if I have to, but Thurs. night gives our bodies carte blanche to flip out and decide it's not going to sleep until latelate. It sucks, but usually it doesn't apply to me, since I don't work Fri. mornings.

Apparently you can't leave a car sitting in the parking lot of your apartment building with no license plates without it being marked "abandoned" and towed away. I suppose it's a logical progression, but I didn't leave the plates on because the last time it has plates on it in our parking lot, they got stolen. It's all cleared up now, and i have a nice "This item has been labeled abandoned and will be TOWED AWAY" sticker on my fridge.
Work
I get to work an overnight tonight since I'm apparently the only male capable of lifting something over 100lbs at Old Navy. We're re-arranging the back room and putting the breakroom in a completely different section of the back room. That's going to involve moving TONS of fixtures, flats, and various other heavy equipment. Plus I'll be expected to run up and down a ladder, and anyone that knows me knows I despise ladders. They know it, too, but choose to ignore it.
Stuff
We were supposed to change the oil and battery in my car today and get it running in worthwhile shape again so I can drive it occasionally to prevent the abandoned thing from happening again. Sadly, we stayed up late chatting and playing 6 degrees at the Center and Swift and didn't get up early enough. Chelle's still sleeping, actually. C'est la Vie, I suppose. We'll take care of it tomorrow morning or Friday afternoon. No biggie.

Now that the content embargo is over, it's time to catch up on the news that's noteworthy in the world of...me.
Sick
Michelle caught the same flu I had and it sucked for her, too. Sitting here watching her suffer really eats at me, since I know there's ABSOLUTELY nothing I can do to help. :( She was starting to get better so she went back to work today, and got sick and threw up while she was there. Apparently she's not all the way better, but she says that tonight was the first time in the past 3 days she's been pain free and nausia free. I think the cheeseburgers from McDonalds are responsible. :)
Work
For the past week, we've had the stock supervisor from Rockford "helping" around our shipment crew. I think it's a thinly veiled attempt to steal her from Rockford and have her working as our stock supervisor. However, she's absolutely nuts and appears to be on many if not several illicit substances. Hard worker, though and between her running circles around all of us and CJ yelling at us to work harder, our numbers went through the roof.
Vee shall zee if she's there when I go back to work on Tues.
Down
The headaches are back. I thought I had relieved enough stress by moving away from those pothead jackass cuntflaps to take care of them for good, but it appears I was wrong. Our lack of self-control when it comes to getting 'stuff' is really starting to tax me mentally, since there's just barely enough coming in to cover the bills. We're not BEHIND yet, but we're on the way. Money always makes me stress out.
